How to install WestNet Backup on your system.

System Requirements

WestNet Backup is not a resource-consuming utility. To use WestNet Backup, you need:
  1. Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME or Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP
  2. x86 Intel or compatible
  3. 16MB (32MB and more recommended) RAM required
  4. Approximately 5MB of free disk space


Installation

The installation process doesn't take much time. All you need to run the downloaded install package and to follow the instructions of the Wizard. You have to reboot, if you installed a driver to backup open files (Windows NT/2000/XP). Then you can launch WestNet Backup Explorer from "Start - Programs - WestNet - WestNet Backup" menu. Install package supports a few command line switches:
eb.exeInstall WestNet Backup
eb.exe /a:blind_conf_fileInstall WestNet Backup without user intervention, using the configuration from blind_conf_file
eb.exe /removeUninstall WestNet Backup
eb.exe /removeblindUninstall WestNet Backup without user intervention

 

Uninstall

To uninstall WestNet Backup, follow these steps:

  1. Close the program window;
  2. In the Windows "Start" menu choose Settings option;
  3. Select Control panel and choose Add/Remove programs;
  4. Find WestNet Backup in the list of currently installed programs and click Add/Remove button;
  5. The window of Uninstall Wizard will appear, now follow the instructions of the Wizard;
